CCAG conducting

Christine's 2018-9 season brought great variety once again: the UK premiere of a baroque mass (!) - Zelenka's Missa Divi Xaverii - programmed with Charpentier Te Deum and Mozart Prague Symphony; a celebration of Night Watch with a cappella music from plainsong to contemporary and a heap more music from Janequin's Le chant des oiseaux to Icelandic folksongs and extracts from Chicago.

The 2019-20 season features contrasting mass settings: David Briggs Messe pour Notre-Dame, a colourful and stunning setting reflecting the great French organ tradition, and Beethoven's glorious Mass in C, in celebration of Beethoven's 250th anniversary.
